Dylan Earl, 22, has been ordered to pay £164,301.13 in compensation to victims of an arson attack on a warehouse storing humanitarian aid and Starlink satellite equipment for Ukraine.
Earl admitted aggravated arson and an offence under the National Security Act after the fire destroyed industrial units in Leyton, east London, on 20 March 2024. He was previously jailed for 17 years for his leading role in what prosecutors described as a planned campaign of terrorism and sabotage linked to the Wagner Group.
Judge Mark Lucraft KC ordered £163,521 to be paid to Meest UK Ltd and £780 to the owner of a neighbouring brewery. The money must be paid within three months, with an 18-month prison term for non-payment.
