The Associated Press reported that Russian aerial attacks partially closed three Kyiv bridges and caused traffic jams. Ukraine also said it had received four proposals for a partial truce covering energy infrastructure and Black Sea shipping.
Russian aerial attacks forced the full or partial closure of three of Kyiv’s six road bridges, causing traffic jams, the Associated Press reported, citing Kyiv’s mayor. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said Russia launched more than 100 drones overnight against Kyiv and eight other regions. He said a drone struck a high-rise apartment building in Kyiv, killing one person, while at least four others were wounded elsewhere.
Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha said Kyiv had received separate proposals from the United States, India, Turkey and Egypt for a partial truce covering attacks on energy infrastructure and Black Sea shipping. He said Ukraine was ready to accept such a ceasefire only if it applied to both Russian attacks on Ukraine’s power grid and Ukrainian strikes on Russian oil refineries and grain-export shipping.
