Iran’s Atomic Energy Organization unveiled four knowledge-based innovations during Government Week: a photoelectron system to measure plasma electron temperature, a bolometric system to quantify plasma energy loss, a charge-exchange diagnostic for ion-temperature measurements, and a Non-Destructive Testing Laboratory offering training and services across key industries. Together, these tools aim to advance fusion research, energy production, and industrial safety through domestically developed technologies.

Iran’s president said Qatar and Pakistan are mediating with the U.S. to convey Tehran’s messages, with skepticism toward Washington’s willingness to honor prior commitments. He argued the Strait of Hormuz can only be resolved through negotiation, stressed that regional security should come from cooperation—not a regional police role, and offered Iran’s help in resolving the Saudi–Yemen dispute while rejecting warlike approaches.
