Lebanon’s Jaafari mufti calls Israel “absolute evil,” warns of internal divisions

Lebanon’s Jaafari mufti, Sheikh Ahmad Qabalan, accused Washington and Tel Aviv of seeking to deepen sectarian divisions and destabilize Lebanon, according to Iran’s IRNA citing Al Nashra. He called Israel “absolute evil” and said resistance was a cornerstone of Lebanon’s sovereignty.
