A Yemeni official said Saudi Arabia is seeking information through a third party about the fate of the pilots of an F-15 that Yemen says it shot down over Marib several days ago. Abdul Qader al-Murtada, head of Yemen’s prisoners’ affairs committee in the Sana’a government, said the lack of direct communication led Riyadh to use an intermediary. Saudi Arabia has not independently confirmed the reported shootdown or the pilots’ status.
