An Iraqi political analyst accused the United States of pressuring Baghdad to disarm resistance groups in Iraq and the region. Former parliamentarian Mohammad Ibrahim called for a government committee to regulate the groups’ weapons rather than confiscate them, according to Iranian state news agency IRNA, citing Al-Malouma.
