French far-right leader Marine Le Pen and her National Rally allies have rallied behind running mate Jordan Bardella after Mediapart attributed antisemitic remarks to him in private written exchanges from more than a decade ago. Bardella denies authorship and says he has launched a libel action against the website. Le Pen described the allegations as an effort to destabilise her campaign.
