The Associated Press reports that journalist and prince Edward Rukidi Nyabongo has been crowned king of Uganda’s Tooro Kingdom. He was selected by elders of the ruling Babiito clan after King Oyo Nyimba died in August at age 34 without a publicly known heir. Queen mother Best Kemigisa disputes the selection, saying Oyo left behind a young son whose identity has not been revealed.
