Meghan’s hosting advice: ‘Have as much prepped as possible before guests arrive’

Meghan’s lifestyle brand, As Ever, has shared her hosting advice, including preparing “as much” as possible before guests arrive.

In an Instagram post labelled “Meghan’s Hosting Notes”, the firm also advised saving one “simple task for the end” — “something you can finish in the kitchen while everyone settles in”.

“A little preparation goes a long way toward making hosting feel effortless,” As Ever added. The advice was accompanied by a picture of Meghan tying a white apron around her waist.

Meghan relocated to the UK at the end of August, according to the report. Earlier this month, her close friend Kelly McKee Zajfen posted that the duchess had received a “loving” welcome on her return, describing it as “beautiful to witness”.

Meghan’s Netflix series, With Love, Meghan, which included recommendations for hosting, cooking and crafting, was criticised by reviewers when it launched alongside As Ever in 2025. The brand sells jam and flower sprinkles.

The report also notes that Pippa Middleton, the Princess of Wales’s sister, once wrote Celebrate, a book about entertaining. The book was mocked for what critics considered over-simplistic advice and prompted a parody social media account.
