BBC director-general Matt Brittin said he wants BBC News to be available on streaming and social platforms including Netflix, YouTube, TikTok, Spotify and Instagram. Speaking on Sunday With Laura Kuenssberg, he said the BBC needed to modernise how its content is consumed and funded, adding that news could help counter misinformation.
