Two Israeli Reserve Soldiers Injured in Bomb Blast in Southern Lebanon
Two Israeli reserve soldiers were reportedly injured when an engineering vehicle struck an older bomb in southern Lebanon’s Wadi al-Saluki area. Israeli military radio, cited by IRNA and Al-Akhbar, said the device was attributed to Hezbollah and had been planted before the November 2024 ceasefire. The report also described continuing Israeli military presence and activity in southern Lebanon, which it said the United Nations considers violations of the ceasefire, Resolution 1701 and Lebanon’s sovereignty.
