Residents reportedly protested in Bahrain’s Diraz district near Manama, condemning the continued detention and trials of Shiite clerics, Iranian state news agency IRNA reported, citing the Al-Lؤلؤة website. The report said protesters also denounced what they described as unfair trials. It added that a recent protest was held on the island of Sitra over the same issue.
