Sudan army says it captures new areas in North Kordofan

Sudan’s army said it captured the areas of Abu Qaud, Umm Sumayma and Mount Abu Sinun in North Kordofan after several days of fighting with the Rapid Support Forces. The army said operations to pursue remaining RSF fighters and secure the areas were continuing.
