Yemen urges global accountability over alleged Saudi actions
Yemeni Foreign Ministry says it reserves the right to respond to activities threatening the country’s security and stability.
Yemen’s Foreign Ministry accused Saudi Arabia of criminal actions and called for international accountability, as fighting reportedly intensified between Yemeni forces and Saudi-backed groups.
Yemen’s Foreign Ministry has accused Saudi Arabia of carrying out what it called “criminal” actions in the country and urged the international community to assume responsibility, according to a statement reported by Iran’s IRNA via Al Masirah. The ministry said Yemen has the right to respond to activities targeting its security and stability. The statement comes amid reported intensified fighting between Yemeni armed forces and Saudi-backed forces in parts of Yemen.
