Tehran – IRNA reports that Turkish authorities arrested 201 suspects in a crackdown on an international fraud network allegedly linked to the Israeli regime. The network is said to have targeted victims in several countries, using online ads and social media to persuade people to invest in forex and cryptocurrencies, via companies marketed as “call centers.” Turkish media also note that the detainees include nine Israelis and eleven Pakistanis, with investigations ongoing. Earlier, Justice Minister Akin Gorluk stated that warrants had been issued for 175 suspects, and the network’s operations reportedly spanned Europe, the Far East, and Africa, handling roughly 13 billion lira in transactions over two years.
