Naim Qassem: Resistance Is the Only Path to Liberate the Land

Tehran - IRNA reports that Hezbollah Secretary-General Sheikh Naim Qassem stated in a video message to the Conference of Martyr Resistance, commemorating the 55th anniversary of the Imamiyyin Students Organization in Pakistan, that resistance is the only path to liberate the land and that all other options are a waste of time. He argued that opposing the arrogance and the Zionist regime is only possible through resistance. He emphasized that Lebanon’s experience shows resistance liberates land, defeats the Israeli enemy, and revitalizes the Palestinian cause. Qassem characterized the Palestinian issue as central and urged resistance in all its forms as necessary, defining resistance as rejecting the enemy and fighting when possible, according to one’s position. Regarding the US and Zionist war against Iran, he claimed the aggression sought to topple the Islamic Republic but faced challenges, and even if it lasts longer, Iran will prevail due to perseverance and preventing them from achieving their aims. He added that over time, the enemy’s weaknesses will become apparent, and with resolve and solidarity with their people, they can achieve the desired outcome.
