Reports of Attack Near Riyadh Airport

Iran’s IRNA, citing Reuters and Sky News, reported an attack by Yemen’s armed forces near King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh. The reports described flames and a large column of black smoke near the airport and said aircraft movements in the area were halted. Saudi Arabia’s urban relief committee reportedly declared an emergency in Jeddah and Taif. A Yemeni military spokesperson separately claimed that Saudi aircraft had carried out 300 strikes in Yemen over the previous week.
