IRNA, citing the Palestinian Information Center, reports six Palestinians, including a child, killed across Gaza as Israeli strikes and ceasefire violations continued, with multiple deaths, injuries, and ongoing military activity.
Six Palestinians, including a child, were killed in Israeli attacks across the Gaza Strip on Saturday as fighting continued and a ceasefire was breached, Iran’s state news agency IRNA reported, citing the Palestinian Information Center. The report describes a burned body of three Palestinians recovered from a car in the Sheikh Radwan market area north of Gaza City. It adds that a Palestinian girl wounded in northern Gaza died of her injuries at Shuhada al-Aqsa Hospital. In Gaza City, Raad Abu Asr was killed in an attack on Mushteih Street in the Shuja’iya district, with his body taken to Al-Mamdani Hospital. In northern Gaza, Basir Munir al-Barsh, son of Gaza’s health ministry director, was killed by a drone near the health ministry building in western Jabalia refugee camp. A Palestinian child was also wounded in Block 6 of the Al-Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza. Israeli forces continued to fire artillery, drones and missiles at targets east of Gaza City and around eastern Shuja’iya as a large-scale bombing operation was carried out east of Khan Yunis. Helicopters were reportedly seen over western Gaza, and the report notes that Israel has fought Gaza with U.S. support since October 7, 2023, but has struggled to achieve its aims and agreed to a ceasefire that has since been violated by Israel.
