Report: Saudi Arabia seeks Oman-mediated ceasefire with Yemen’s Ansarullah

IRNA, citing Al-Akhbar, reports that Saudi Arabia is pursuing an Oman-mediated two-week ceasefire and negotiations with Ansarullah, which is reportedly demanding a comprehensive settlement.
Saudi Arabia has sought an Oman-mediated ceasefire and talks with Yemen’s Ansarullah movement, according to a report by Lebanon’s Al-Akhbar cited by Iran’s IRNA. The reported proposal includes a two-week truce, humanitarian discussions and a broader agreement. Ansarullah is reportedly seeking a complete end to the blockade, Saudi withdrawal from Yemen and compensation for damage. The report says the movement has not accepted Riyadh’s proposal.
