Iran’s embassy in Germany accused Western countries of applying human-rights standards selectively, citing alleged past and recent attacks.
Iran’s embassy in Germany has criticized what it called the West’s “selective” approach to human rights in a video message shared on social media. The message cited the 1980s chemical attacks on Sardasht and alleged European involvement in supplying materials and equipment used in Saddam Hussein’s chemical-weapons program. It also referred to an alleged attack on a school in Minab in which 168 people were reportedly killed, including many female students.
