Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi criticized French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot’s recent human-rights allegations against Iran, accusing Paris of silence over what he described as the killing of Iranian schoolchildren by the United States. In a post on X, Araghchi also cited France’s colonial record in Algeria and called on Barrot to stop what he termed “crocodile tears,” Iran’s IRNA news agency reported.
