Iran nuclear chief says fusion project must not fall behind global advances
Iran’s atomic energy chief called for faster progress on the country’s nuclear-fusion program and announced new plasma-diagnostic systems and a testing laboratory.
Iranian Atomic Energy Organization chief Mohammad Eslami said the country must accelerate its national nuclear-fusion program, calling fusion a future energy source. Speaking in Tehran on Wednesday, he also unveiled three plasma-diagnostic systems for tokamak research and a non-destructive testing laboratory, according to the official IRNA news agency.
