Iran fuel distributor clarifies petrol quota changes
Summary

Iran’s fuel distributor says previous petrol quotas remain unchanged for most private cars, while the third-tier price has doubled and an eligibility-ceiling increase is under review.

Iran’s National Iranian Oil Products Distribution Company says most private passenger cars will continue to receive 60 litres of petrol at 15,000 rials per litre and 50 litres at 30,000 rials per litre. It said the only change since September 8 was raising the third-tier price from 50,000 to 100,000 rials per litre. A proposed increase to the one-billion-rial eligibility ceiling for newly produced domestic cars remains under review.
