Iran Atomic Energy Organization chief meets family of Fereydoun Abbasi

Iranian Vice President and Atomic Energy Organization chief Mohammad Eslami met with the family of former nuclear official Fereydoun Abbasi at his home during Government Week, the IRNA news agency reported. Senior nuclear industry officials accompanied Eslami, who commemorated Abbasi’s scientific and managerial contributions. Abbasi was killed on June 13, 2025, during an Israeli attack on Iran, according to the report.
