Former Iran bourse chief says distributed solar can reduce energy vulnerability
Shapour Mohammadi linked distributed renewable power generation to reduced vulnerability of Iran’s energy infrastructure and highlighted recent renewable project fund offerings.
Shapour Mohammadi said distributed renewable power plants could make Iran’s energy infrastructure less vulnerable to attacks, speaking at the launch of subscriptions for the Hursan solar power project fund on the Energy Exchange. He also said units in the 500-megawatt Noor renewable project fund had been offered the previous week and received a positive response.
