Christa Pike remained alive and was receiving medical treatment at a hospital on Thursday, a day after Tennessee’s failed attempt to execute her by lethal injection, her lawyer Randy Spivey said. He said Pike’s legal team did not know her prognosis or current condition. Governor Bill Lee has indefinitely postponed Pike’s execution and ordered a review of what happened.
