The Duchess of Sussex has launched a $148 (£112) As Ever advent calendar inspired by her Montecito home and garden. The product contains 24 handcrafted chocolates, is available for pre-order in the US and is not currently offered for delivery to the UK.
The Duchess of Sussex has launched a luxury advent calendar inspired by her Montecito home and garden.
The limited-edition As Ever product, priced at $148 (£112), was added to the brand’s website for pre-order on Thursday. It was created in collaboration with Los Angeles chocolatier Compartes.
The calendar contains 24 handcrafted chocolates, with flavours drawing on California’s fresh produce. The selection includes As Ever’s strawberry, raspberry, blackberry and orange marmalade spreads, a chocolate finished with Meghan’s flower sprinkles and a Compartes dark chocolate ganache truffle.
The product description says each chocolate is finished with its countdown number in Meghan’s handwriting and hand-painted edible gold lustre. The box features an illustration of the Sussexes’ Californian home and includes the words “A magical celebration of the season” and “sweeten each day”.
The report said the advent calendar is not available for delivery to the UK. As Ever, whose products also include flower sprinkles, jam and wine, currently ships only within the US.
Meghan was pictured on As Ever’s Instagram opening one of the calendar’s numbered doors while sitting on a window seat. She had earlier shared footage of herself driving a golf buggy with Compartes chief executive Jonathan Grahm, alongside a caption reading “Christmas planning in June”.
The footage also showed sketches of the house and the Sussexes’ labrador, Pula, carrying a soft toy shaped like an As Ever strawberry-jam pot.
