Iranian ambassador highlights expansion of sports cooperation with Russia
Iranian Ambassador Kazem Jalali said Iran’s embassy in Moscow would support Iranian sports teams traveling to Russia and called for expanded sports cooperation between the two countries. Meeting Iran’s national beach soccer team, he described its participation in a Moscow tournament as sports diplomacy and supported discussion of new multilateral sports structures involving independent countries.
