Hezbollah MP: Iran doesn't need Lebanon's support

Tehran—IRNA reports that Hassan Fadlallah, a Lebanese parliament member and a member of the Resistance Loyalty Bloc, said that Iran does not need Lebanon's support, and that Lebanon is the one that relies on Iran today. The report, according to IRNA citing the Lebanese news site Al-Ahed, notes Fadlallah's remarks about threats from the Zionist regime against Lebanon: the threat affects the whole country, not just the south or the Shia communities. He urged Resistance supporters to stand firm, be patient, and remain loyal to the leadership of the Resistance, asserting that after every hardship comes ease and the situation will not stay as it is. Regarding Lebanon's recent developments, he said what the enemy has done was not only to back Palestine but stems from Zionist greed and groundwork laid over the years. He also stressed that Lebanon has the capability and resources to carry out military operations and strike Israeli positions across Lebanon. Fadlallah added that the Resistance today has withstood, is strengthening its capabilities, and is preparing to confront the enemy. He concluded that our regional situation is very favorable and Lebanon will be drawn into new equations.
