Tehran — IRNA — Former Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif described U.S. President’s threats to annihilate a nation as the “mother of crimes.” He said that the Iranian president at the United Nations General Assembly announced that Iran is ready for diplomacy, but never threatens Iranians. In a post on X on Thursday, Zarif wrote that the “global bully” confused the UN General Assembly with a Stone-Age battlefield and threatened to commit the “mother of all war crimes” by annihilating a nation. Zarif noted that the Iranian president, Pezeshkian, interrupted his prepared remarks to tell the world: Iran is always ready for diplomacy; but never threaten Iranians.
