IRNA, citing Yemeni sources (including SABA and Almasirah), says Saudi jets struck sites in Saada and Al-Jawf, killing and injuring civilians, hitting a government complex in Al-Matoun, telecom towers, and villages in Al-Zahir and Haidan as clashes continue.
Tehran-based IRNA reports, citing Yemeni sources, that Saudi airstrikes targeted several locations in Yemen's Saada and Al-Jawf governorates. In Al-Jawf, two strikes hit the government complex in the Al-Matoun district. The Yemeni Ministry of Health said seven civilians were killed or wounded in attacks on Khob and Al-Shaaf in Al-Jawf. Almasirah added that airstrikes hit communication towers in Khob and Al-Shaaf, with four workers killed and three injured. The report also says that Arab forces shelled villages in the border districts of Al-Zahir and Haidan with dozens of missiles and artillery. The fighting has intensified, with Yemeni armed forces advancing and pro-Saudi forces retreating from several areas.
