Tehran - Iran News Agency (IRNA) reports that Sardar Hassan Hasanzadeh, commander of Tehran’s Sepah Hazrat Mohammad Rasul-Allah (PBUH) corps, announced that a new drill in the 'Martyrdom for Iran' series will involve 40,000 motorcyclists. The event follows the 313,000-strong 'Martyrdom for Iran' exercise held on 27 Shahrivar and will be conducted with wide public participation from families on motorcycles. Hasanzadeh said participants will carry the sacred flag of the Islamic Republic and pay tribute to the martyrs of the eight-year Sacred Defense, as well as the martyrs of the 12-day war and the Ramadan War. He noted that the exercises align with the Supreme Leader’s directives and with the public’s ongoing presence in nighttime gatherings, underscoring the nation’s unity and fidelity to the revolution’s ideals. The route is from Imam Hussein Square to Azadi Square, beginning at 8 a.m., with traffic measures prepared and coordination with relevant agencies to ensure a orderly and secure ceremony. Hasanzadeh expressed hope that this drill will, as in the past, become a lasting scene of popular presence and a demonstration of the Iranian people’s unity and resolve.
